Awareness tells you what CMMC requires. Readiness is where you build the proof. This 5-day bootcamp takes your organization from understanding the model to producing the documentation a C3PAO will actually assess.

CMMC Implementation Readiness walks you through the full arc of preparation: scoping your environment, drafting a System Security Plan that maps to the NIST SP 800-171 controls, collecting evidence, building a Plan of Action & Milestones for open items, and calculating and submitting your SPRS score. The work is hands-on and centered on your own environment, not abstract examples.

You’ll leave with the framework of an assessment-ready package and a clear-eyed view of what an assessor expects to see — so there are no surprises when the formal assessment begins.

It is the deep implementation work that follows Awareness and precedes a C3PAO assessment. For professionals who want to build a career inside the CMMC ecosystem, our certification-track classes — CCP Prep and CCA Prep — are the natural next step.

Class FAQs

CMMC Implementation Readiness — questions, answered

Is the Awareness class a prerequisite? +
It is not required, but it helps. Awareness gives you the vocabulary and the lay of the land; Readiness is the hands-on implementation work. If you are new to CMMC, take Awareness first.
What do I leave with? +
You leave with the structure and working drafts of an assessment-ready documentation package — your SSP framework, evidence approach, POA&M, and SPRS score — built around your own environment.
Does this guarantee my organization will pass a C3PAO assessment? +
No. This class prepares you thoroughly and shows you exactly what an assessor looks for, but no class can guarantee a passing result — that depends on your actual implementation and the independent assessment itself.
How long is the class and how is it delivered? +
It is a 5-day class delivered hybrid — attend on-campus at Dallas College Downtown or join live online. See the calendar for upcoming cohort dates.
How much does it cost? +
$2,495.
Do I need a technical background? +
Some familiarity with your organization's IT and security environment is valuable, since the work is hands-on. Implementers, security leads, and the compliance owners who work alongside them get the most from it.
Is this the right class if I'm an MSP supporting DIB clients? +
Yes. The methodology applies directly to preparing client environments for assessment, and many attendees use it to standardize how they take clients through readiness.
